| And ... our second batch of eggs in one of the wood duck nesting boxes. To say we are puzzled and skeptical is an understatement. Check on the progress every couple of days. So far, a female wood is sitting on the eggs pretty regularly, but from what I've been reading, this is not an area of the wood duck breeding grounds that generally gets two batches in a summer. |
