I realize that weather is not really worth
getting grumpy about but ...

But, when the steam or smoke started
heading straight up in the afternoon,
I bundled up and got out for my 5 miles!

Here we go again ... sigh  :(
With the extreme cold and windchills
resorted to taping up my runners to keep
my toes from freezing.

Finally!  Back on my yoga mat ...
and what a great place for yoga today ...
in front of the beautiful tree and with a
wonderfully warm fire going :)

'Making Snow'
I got Conrad to help me out with this experiment.
I'd seen a couple of pics showing how to taking boiling waater
and throwing it into the air when the temps were really frigid,
(like the last week) and watching what happened.  Tah dah!  It crystalized
immediately and became an explosion of crystals raining down!

 I finally spotted an owl on a pole and
he took off immediately!  When I
managed to shoot this pic and looked at it
more closely, saw the glare that he was giving me!  :)
