      This is not just random ...

       I was prowling the house

        trying to find something

       to photograph when I

        came across all of these in

        the same upstairs room ...

        all really good options 

        for me when I'm hunting

        for things to do over the

         winter.

I had some visitors this morning.
And of course, we had to play with
a new game they got for Christmas!  :)

And ... we finally got around
to baking the cookie dough that
had been waiting for them in fridge

For the most part I find squirrels pesky rodents,
but this guy provided entertainment for
quite awhile this morning.  The snow under
the feeder must be 1-2 feet deep already,
and the squirrel just kept diving down under
to go get some more seed that had dropped before
we got all the snow, and then come up
to eat it.. Crazy thing!  :)

Sadly, the coming storm chased our out-of-towners home early,
