Went for a Sunday drive down south today ...
loved the motel/antique museum we came
across in Hallock.  And then of course,
we ran into alot of rain in GF so lots of car washes happening!

Spent a glorious entire day in the sunshine
doing wood work :)

September 27 ... Where I Stand

Where I stood today ... guess if I'd started at the beginning,
I should have caught  my morning walk and
walking up 9 flights of stairs to an early morning appt in downtown Winnipeg.
 The three I caught were with
Hazel, who just turned 11 months and is doing lots of standing
and short little jaunts walking these days,
starting to rake up some of the many leaves down already,
and trying to gather just a few of the hundreds of volunteer
Tiny Tims that are ready in the garden now.

September 26

And just in case I get nothing else today ...
it was way overdue fridge cleaning time

Our tree did manage to produce a few
salvageable  apples ... think it may not come back next year though :(

Ravae and I went to find some late straggling Johnny Jump-ups  ...
it looks a little rough around the edges

And went to visit my mom and took
her for a ride through The Gardens complex 

September 24 ... A trail / Walking

The Great Trail ... don't walk it often unless I have Moose, but have
walked and biked  it to the golf course a few times this year.
I did have to smile when someone came down the trail
to see if I was alright ... guess from a distance, me,
trying to get a camera set up on the ground for a picture
could have looked like I was in trouble. 

September 23

What a gorgeous day out at Falcon!  Started with a beautiful
morning out at the beach, got another wonderful day on the water and
caught fish again, and then packed up to head home.
We did run into a little hiccup en route though.  Not too far into our
trip home, heard a very loud BANG!, and discovered we had blown
a tire on our camper.  Thankfully, no damage to the camper, had a spare (if somewhat
under inflated), and Conrad had us back on the road in less than half hour.

This is crazy!  Lit the woodstove for a bit
to take the damp chill off in the house 

Troy and I loaded up the truck with
some willow he had cut and split on his yard

Yeeks!  Did not realize this road would still
be this soft and wet.  Actually landed up in the grass
at the edge of the ditch for parts of it.  My poor new bike ...
got a bit muddy :(
