I had not had a great day in the city, and was just wanting to get home

into the sun, and onto my yoga mat.  But, heading around

Ste. Agathe curve on my way home, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a

beautiful dog running along the ditch to the left of the highway.

When I turned to check it out, I saw Brian playing fetch with Moose!

Did a u-turn and went for a short visit with these guys! 

Thanks guys!  Best part of my day by far!

need a longer lens and more patience I'm thinking 

This guy stood in the fence next to me and
watched me watching him for a long, long time :)

       And it worked!  We've really
       been enjoying watching these
       guys feeding on the oranges
       I set out yesterday  :)

What an awesome day!  Started the day

catching the baby owl this morning ...

 

Went on a little road trip with Conrad where we
came across this !  We couldn't believe the little boot store
was still standing and open in Hallock!
Quite a few pairs of boots have been purchased there
between the two of us over the last 35+ years!

And then Conrad spotted these guys!  A pair of sandhill cranes!
Even did a dance or us!

 

 And not more than a couple of miles later ...

 And of course, it was Mother's Day so ...
